My love for fashion began when my paternal grandmother would take me on an annual shopping trip to buy a back to school outfit. I will never forget the Mickey Mouse tee and denim shorts overalls (with one strap undone of course, it is all about the styling after all) we so proudly collaborated on one summer. This love for fashion was quickly followed by an interest in makeup after I secretly bought myself my first eyeshadow in seventh grade (I’ll never be able to forget THAT bright turquoise either).

After two decades of collecting all the fashion and makeup information I could get my hands on, I realized there was an overarching lack of sustainability in both arenas. Yes, there have been improvements, however there is still so much that falls on the consumers to do themselves in order to do their part. But no more! I’ve tried dozens of clean makeup and skincare lines, have vetted numerous sustainable fashion labels over the years, and most importantly have formalized my fashion education and am now a proud FIT alumni (although I will forever have a special place in my heart for maize and blue) with a certification in Image Consulting. I am thrilled to share all my knowledge with you so that you can skip the years of deep dives and trial and errors, and head straight to having fun with your unique and personalized style.
